A great honor for George! Given what he had said about orchestras i'm sure this would of meant a lot to him.

This is very bittersweet. Listening to the music and words of George but him not being there to perform them himself Not interested in somebody else singing his songs.

Default I'd love to hear the Symphonic tribut

Hi

I so do miss my favorite singer. I didn't know that loosing a beloved singer whose music is connected to many phases in my life, hurts that much. And that feeling will linger on for ever I am afraid.
The Symphonica album of George and Phil Ramone is one of my favorites. It has been in the player here for weeks. Such a big bam boom orchestra has already been a favorite for years. Picture this ..... Music with high fidelity pure audio on a loud volume and then ..... (even though it has not been written by George himself) putting the player on nr. 11: Going to a town! Close your eyes and let yourself litterally float on the waves of this heavenly music. I loved the tributes of Andrew, Shirley and Pepsi & Adele & my Dutch favorites (Trijntje Oosterhuis etc. making their tributes in the Netherlands at Paradiso). A symphonic one is completely at its place I think.
Here a song from my Dutch fav performer Trijntje, Candy Dulfer and Stephan Geusebroek on youtube with the following search words: Trijntje Oosterhuis - Careless Whisper (Club Dauphine, 5-3-2017)

Big hugs XXX Guinness
