I'm not sure the photos the papers are showing are truly taken after the burial, despite what the papers are saying. That said, it is perfectly likely that GM is buried in the same grave as his mother (i.e. above her rather than alongside). I did read that he purchased five 'berths' at the time he bought his mother's plot. In older graveyards that usually means they will bury to a depth of 5 coffins (there are specifications) and the burials take place in the same grave effectively. I don't think there is room for 5 alongside each other in that section. Of course, the info re 5 being purchased may be unverified.

If he is burried in the family plot i do not think there will be another headstone. They will just add his name on the existing stone. At least thats what we are doing here

The pictures are definitely from after the burial. I have a FB friend who went on the tour (you can't get close to the grave on the tour but it can be seen & pictured with zoom.) the day after they took the barriers down and her picture is very similar to those posted in the article. In fact, she put her picture on her facebook page a full day before any of the tabloids and thinks they may have used her photo without her permission.

That's interesting, but weird to think that the press could've seen your friend's FB page. Unless she has any contact with them? Otherwise why would they look at her page, or get access to it? Googling images maybe? I was going to ask on here if anyone had been on one of the guided tours. I really hope in the future that the family will reconsider George being included on the tour, as there would obviously be some control.

Simon Cowell 'so upset' over death of 'amazing' George Michael

Simon Cowell has told how he remembers where he was when he heard of the death of George Michael, who he described as "one of the best songwriters ever".

Cowell selected Michael's hit One More Try as one of his favourite songs when appearing on BBC Radio 2 presenter Ken Bruce's show.

The X Factor founder told Bruce: "You always remember where you were when you heard the news and I was on holiday.

"I was so upset because I've met George a couple of times.

"I found him to be really kind, genuine. He was an amazing person and he was one of the best songwriters ever."

He said it was a "toss-up" between the number one from album Faith and Praying for Time but selected the former because it "just typifies" Michael, who died on Christmas Day at the age of 53.

The press photos that I have seen are all credited to a named pap (look at the copyright accreditation on the photos) so that seems a little unlikely!

Paparazzi have lots of tricks up their sleeves. I know for sure they have been following fans on twitter & on fb pages. Several stories over the years have used fans tweets for their articles. I never doubt that the tabloids & their "photographers" will use anything from anywhere to get a story. The fan who took the picture is on both. She has looked at the pictures closer & isn't sure it's the same, looks like the angle is slightly different.

Yes, she's looked closer at the pictures and feels it's from a slightly different angle. I still wouldn't put it past a paparazzi to take credit for a photo that someone else took. They're slimey people.

"I'm a huge fan of George Michael, my mum brought me up on him"
"His voice was perfect every time. His note choice and where he went live blew me away."
James Arthur covers the classic Careless Whisper in tribute to George Michael.

Wow, looks like someone has got himself a publicist! I hate websites where the ownership/authorship is concealed. Smacks of alt/fake news.

It seems to be a rebuttal to the tabloid articles by a fan or someone unofficial. I do not see any new sources or official statements.
