If you mean the one on the left, it's Michele Baylis. Not sure if the spelling is right.

Sad to see the studio one again as that was no doubt from the new never to be released album. Such a shame as sounded very promising to me. All that work gone to waste.

Question

I missed many posts here and have not much time to read.
Could someone be so kind and summarise for me?:
  1. Is an official tribute concert planned? When? Where?..
  2. Did the probate already happen? What is the content?
  3. Are there still flowers and tributes around the houses?
  4. Will a GM statue be build up? In which shape?

I hope everyone does live on and feels ok..
Thx for keeping this forums online!

Sadie Frost says George Michael tribute concern would be "great thing" as she backs calls for send-off gig

The actress and film producer, 51, who knew George in the 1980s and 90s, supported the idea of a tribute concert as long as the singer's family were on board

Sadie’s ex-husband Jude Law was a neighbour of the late Wham! singer and George used to let their kids use the pool at his home in Hampstead, North London.

Industry heavyweights Simon Cowell and Bob Geldof have also backed the idea.

The Simpsons writer to help fund George Michael Memorial

A writer of The Simpsons is supporting the campaign to restore the Scout Hut that George Michael first performed in.

Carolyn Omine is donating tickets to her up-coming one-woman show to a raffle to raise money to treat structural problems in the hut.

The tickets will be auctioned at the Three Crowns Pub, High Road on Sunday, April 30 from 4pm following the memorial to be held in St James’ Parish, Bushey at 3pm.

Here is some interesting news from David Austin that the LWP reissue and the Freedom documentary will come out in October. I like what they did here with the fans tribute. We have all paid tribute to George Michael with our writings many times over in the different threads. I was thinking for sometime that we should have one thread where each of us writes a full tribute to GM and what he meant to us. It would be nice to come back in the future and read it all back. Dont know what others think about this

I'd say these are beautiful news indeed. I already know that I'll love the documentary (and also that, while watching it, the images on the screen will cross in my mind with the lovely image of not-so-dramatically-troubled-anymore-looking George sitting on that medical ball on Dec. 9, 2016, quietly supervising it in his studio ).

The source you quoted http://www.george-michael-news.com/2...-highgate.html is from the very same French fan site where I found the transcripts of several 2014 interviews and Q&As which nobody here knew of before (and which I posted in the "falling out of the car" thread).
So, they printed a book with all of their messages about George's demise (in various languages: I read one in Italian too) and gave David a copy of it for himself, another three copies for George's family and another one to be kept in George's offices. Nice.

EDIT: David Austin told Frédérique (the person who met him in London) that the documentary will be shown both at cinemas and on TV and also that it includes an interview with George. I wonder whether it'll be vintage footage or not ...

I want to remember the Dec 9 picture and the picture in the pub in July 2016 smiling and looking at something on the phone shown to him.
I already Know I will watch the documentary a 100+ times, analyse every inflection of GMs voice, every single thing he says. October is 4 months and something away. Yikes. But then you cannot be a GM fan without having tonnes of Patience

Having the documentary and the reissue come out in the same month will be great for sales, LWP sales is just shy of 300,000 from reaching ten million, I can't wait.

I think that's a lovely idea. Thanks for this update from David regarding the documentary and reissue. I am so looking forward to the documentary, even though it will now be bittersweet. Hoping it will perhaps be available on DVD to coincide with the reissue. One can hope.

I say George might sell one million copies of the reissue in the U.K. Alone...
