At the risk of embarrassing myself, here is a short song I wrote a few days after he died:

Default Happy tears

I had one of those moments yesterday when music just overwhelmed. I was driving to work listening to George's music. I was singing along to 'Someone to Love' and at the same time just awestruck a what a great performer he was. The next song on was Jesus to a child. I was just overwhelmed, and a little bit teary. What a beautifully talented man George was, he could bring you to great highs with his performances but also could move you beyond words with his beautiful tribute to his lost love. How much more poignant was this song when we knew what/who it was about.
I am not very good with words and have not really described 'my moment' yesterday very well. However wherever you are George you continue to live on in all of us and will continue to do so always with your music.PS don't you just hate, hate, hate using the past tense with respect to George.
