How reliable can the article be when it refers to Trojan Souls as Trojan Horse, and claims that This Kind of Love had never seen the light of day until FF leaked it, when in reality it had been in circulation on YouTube and elsewhere for years before Fadi "leaked" it? I hope it's true, though.

I do hope one of those three unreleased albums were finished, I would love to hear George's voice in unreleased music.

You're right, ladyjane. Sinatra recorded "Duets" in 1992 without meeting any of his singing partners.

In an interesting and impromptu Q&A on a George FB group, Niall Flynn, a sound engineer on many of George albums, said the duo never happened ...

Ok but maybe he wasn't involved ? Makes no sense for it to have been made up completely .

That's what I thought too. Why would Naughty Boy lie about it? Just to get some publicity? Strange... well we will eventually know the truth very soon

Oh love your picture by the way , giacmichael,I had that magazine ! There weren't many American covers for him then and I treasured that , read it over and over and gazed at the photos.

Aside from the Naughty Boy question, what Nyall Flynn says (if my interpretation is correct) is so important for me: they had basically 7-8 songs already done (more or less) and these ones were - as always with George - a mix of ballads, mid-tempo and uptempo songs.
Before the CD era you made a whole quality LP with 7-8 songs ... at this point I very much hope that sooner or later this new music of his will come out.

I've a few questions and points on this. Was he referring to the dance album then, that George had said was mixed and completed back in 2012, or was this another album of new material that George had been working on towards the end? Maybe I'm getting ahead of myself but the thought of two lots of material that could be released at some point fills me with joy.

As far as the Naughty Boy song goes, maybe what he means when he says it didn't happen is that George never received back the finished track from Naughty Boy to add to or change or whatever. Perhaps it's finished from NB's POV, because I find it hard to believe NB would tell such blatant lies.

It's interesting he said that he can't talk about the Nile Rogers remixes, that would lead me to believe that they likely to be part of something at a later date.

I've said it from day one, we will see new and original GM music before the end of this year, and I think the documentary will form a major part of what's coming.

Fingers crossed. Although I'm not that hopeful. He must have spent sometime working on this music. It would be a shame if it never saw the light of day.

Would be kind of sad though, to have released a record you collaborated on with George Michael and not even been in the same room.
Niles was at his house and George was there and he didn't meet him. Not a good sign.

I am no expert on these things so if I am saying something wrong apologies. Wasn't the Naughty Boy collaboration for one track with GM which was going to be part of NBs album:
His new album is due out in April with collaborations from the likes of Mike Posner, DNCE, Shawn Mendes, and even George Michael. ‘I wanted an eclectic mix,’ he said. (December 20 2016)
http://metro.co.uk/2016/12/20/video-...thing-6334035/

At that time they said maybe work between Naughty Boy and GM for an album after that. But it never happened. So the one track they worked on is what NB is talking about I think and might be released. But work on the album never happened and I think that is what Niall Flynn is referring to.
Although the duo have yet to make it into the studio, Khan said the project was "the most interesting collaboration" he'd done. "It's easier to do what's relevant," he said, referring to his work with current chart stars, "but someone like George is timeless".
http://www.bbc.com/news/entertainment-arts-38300187 (Dec 13 2016)

The other set of people GM worked with were Paul Mac and Stereogamus. Many of the links about their work together and what Paul Mac said in interviews in 2011 are no longer working. He mentioned a dance track that was 6 mins long that he thought was great and urged GM not to edit it. White Light also came out of that collaboration. I will post the links I have. Recording of "Every Other Lover in the World": http://www.music-news.com/news/UK/40358/Read (April 2011)

Read what Paul Mac is saying in March 2015:
But George is incredibly slow to work with. White Light came out, which we did a mix of – and then there were about three or four more [songs]. Then George disappeared in a puff of smoke (laughs).

We know during the Symphonica tour GM said he was working on the album and then it was interrupted in Dec 2011. In Feb 2012, he tweeted tongue-in-cheek about the delay in getting the radio mix of EOL ready because he was busy with a ventilator. He also said he was waiting for his vocal chords to get back to normal so he could do the rescheduled Symphonica concerts. So rest of the year he was busy with that.

Then with Phil Ramone passing away in March 2013, they had to work to release the Symphonica album in 2014. From 2013 to 2015, with his health problems how much work on this new album he did we don't know, if at all. In 2016, he was working on the documentary, LWP re-release and again on this album as Niall Flynn was saying. Kahane was saying in December 2016, GM played some new songs to him. Nile Rodgers mentioned a remix, was it for a new song?

Were these songs sufficiently finished for a new release? Would not his focus have been more on the documentary and release of LWP in March before concentrating fully on a new album. We can only keep our fingers crossed and hope....
