Stand By Me (for the *** time)...what a wonderful "laugh out loud" movie!

I did not realize this was based on a novella by Stephen King.

The curious case of Benjamin Button. Must say I had rather great expectations, but I didn't find it as good as I had hoped. Theme is definitely interesting but the film is way too long and the slow development ends up boring you more than it should.

No Country For Old Men

uummm wow this film gave me anxiety!!! but it was good, real good in fact if I take out all the gun wounds lolheheee
and josh brolin...meeeow to that hair and beard look he had for the movie! he might be one of the best actors out there I think...he's very good!
I like how the story changes up a bit, leaves you guessing all the way about what could happen next.

imho, one of the best by Cohen brothers

and I agree Josh Brolin is a great actor ... his performance in American Gangster next to Russell Crowe and Denzel Washington was stunning

Angels & Demons ... {only because my mom wanted to see it ... she`s a big Dan Brown`s fan} ... actually it was good, better than Da Vinci Code, got lot more action scenes and was entirely shot in Rome, so I very much enjoyed watching incredibly beautiful locations of my favourite city

Yesterday I saw The ultimate gift on DVD. Loved it! The story goes something like this: The oil tycoon dies and his greedy family is gathered in the office of his lawyer for reading of the will. Each of them gets something but not the whole fortune. His reckless and selfish grandson who hated him, (but also reminded him of his dead son) is assigned twelve apparently simple tasks called "gifts" – of work, money, friends, learning, problems, family, laughter, dreams, giving, gratitude, a day and love – challenging the grandson to a journey of discoveries. When he meets the leukemic girl and her mother the grandson changes his perspective of life and money, superseding the expectations of the grandfather, he becomes a better man and receives the ultimate gift from his wise grandfather.

Thumbs up

Night At The Museum
It was cute and very funny almost the whole time. The first half was a little slow but the last half just keeps you giggling.
Now I really want to see the new one Night At The Museum: Battle Of The Smithsonian

The Reader with Kate Winslet and Ralph Fiennes, a post WW2 drama based on German novel written by Bernhard Schlink.

Didn`t quite like it ... it`s rather disappointing and shallow adaptation and although Kate Winslet won Oscar I think her performance in Revolutionary Road was much better than this one.

{Film was produced by Sydney Pollack and Anthony Minghella ... they both died before it was released }
